Titanic nearing completion

Titanic nearing completion at the deepwater fitting-out wharf in the second week of March 1912.

Titanic now faces seaward after being towed from the dry dock on 8 March.  The photograph shows that the last-minute improvement of enclosing the forward part of Promenade Deck A with sliding windows had not yet been done.  This was necessary to ensure that First Class passengers would remain dry while walking on the forward part of the promenade decks.
