You’ll find the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum on the main Belfast to Bangor Road (A2), near Holywood. We’re about 7 miles, or 15 minutes, east of Belfast City Centre, and there’s easy access by road, rail and bus. George Best Belfast City Airport is also nearby. Link to Google Maps journey finder.

By rail:
Get off at the Cultra Halt rail station. From there it’s a 2 minute walk to the Transport Galleries, or an uphill walk of about 15 minutes to the Folk Museum. Contact Translink on +44 (0) 28 9066 6630 for up-to-date rail timetable information.   

By bus:
Get off at the bus stop outside the Museum entrance, on the main Belfast to Bangor road. Then follow the path uphill to the Folk Museum for about a 5 minute walk, or downhill to the Transport Museum.

Parking:
Whether you’re coming by car, minibus or coach, you’ll find lots of free parking.  There are car parks at the Transport Museum, the Folk Museum and at Cultra Manor. A number of parking areas are set aside exclusively for persons with access needs.
 
On event days we arrange additional car parking and transport.
